Christmas 2010

Hard to believe that this year is almost over. It seems that the older my child gets, the faster the years seem to fly by. We are ready for whatever 2011 has to bring our way. I will be ready with my trusty camera in hand snapping all the memories I can.(yes that rhymes, so what) That's if I remember the check the battery!
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Santa sure was good at our house.
Here are a few pictures. Nothing too exciting. Most of them are of my dear sweet child opening gifts, but she sure had fun.
Christmas Eve we spent at Stewart's parents house, and then on Christmas day we stayed home and my family came to help celebrate. It was nice to stay home and enjoy the day. With all the things that my family bought for Maddison I can honestly say I should have changed her Birthday from June 5th to December 25th. It was insane how many toys she got. It was too much.
Enjoy a few snapshots and a slide show at the end.....

Christmas gathering......

Last Saturday was our family Christmas dinner for Stewart's Grandma.
She is a mother to three daughter's, five grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. All together there are 22 of us. Soon it will be 24.
Two of Stewart's cousins are both expecting at the beginning of next year. One baby is due to arrive in January and the other in February! Can't wait ladies!
We always have a big dinner and we even have a visit from Santa Claus!
And this year I was so proud of my child. The last three years she has screamed in Santa's face, and refused to have anything to do with him. But this year she was laughing and gave Santa a big hug!
Here are some pictures from our fun night down at the farm!

Not much.....

Holy cow.....have I been slacking on the blog or what?
Sorry folks, but I can finally use the excuse that I've been staying busy getting things ready for Christmas.
I still have to pause from time to time and ponder where has this year gone? And it's almost over!
Next year is sure to bring many more wonderful memories. Stu will turn 34, Maddie will turn 5, and I'll *gulp* be 32. And not to mention that my baby will start kindergarten next fall. I guess it's time to face the fact that my kiddo is growing up. Too fast for me anyway.
I have managed to snap a few pictures here and there the past couple of weeks.
I don't know what it is, but it seems like every year around this time there are hundreds of Black birds that make there way all over the back yard and into the field. I should have captured them on video, because the sound that is made when all these birds take off at the same time is kind of neat. Glad they didn't decided to attack me! he he

And here's what happens when you let your child watch too much t.v.....

Happy Holidays!
