I don't know where to begin with this post.
I haven't blogged in a while, but there hasn't been much going on this week. Last week Maddie had Spring Break from pre school. We didn't do too much, since the weather wasn't the greatest. But it looks as if Spring is headed back by the end of this week. And I hope it stays.
Now I have some sad sad news. One of my dearest friends, Kate, shared some awful news about her Dad Larry. Last week he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.
I'm not much of a religious person, but that doesn't mean I don't believe in God. Because I do. I am praying for Kate and her whole family. So I ask of all who read this, please send a small prayer for my friend. She could really use it.
I love her dearly and I hate to see that she and her family are hurting right now. I wish so badly that there was something I could do. She knows that I am always here for her, and always will be. I know deep in my heart that she would do the same for me. So all I can do now at this moment is to pray for her and her Dad and ask all of you to please pray too. It would mean so much.
On a happier note, here are a couple of pictures of my dear sweet girl.
This has been her new favorite thing to do indoors. Pretty soon it will involve playing with water outdoors!

Nothing new.......
I'm slacking on the blogging......but there hasn't been much going on around our house lately.
Last week Miss Maddie did manage to catch part of the sick bug that had been going around. Hers turned out to be more viral than bacterial. So it took her a few extra days to completely get over it. I knew she was starting to feel better when she started talking sassy again.
Then thanks to her mama, I managed to sprang her foot.
It was after Kindergarten Round-Up at the Elementary school. As we were walking out to the car, Maddie made a bee-line for the swing set area. She was dying to play. So we thought ok, just for a couple of minutes. So being the big kid I am, I wanted to play too. I was all about going down this half twisty slide. Well Maddie wanted to go down it with me. So she hopped on my lap and away we went. Then I made the mistake of leaning back a little and we go flying off the slide and her left foot got smashed under my left thigh/bottom area. Oh was she mad. But I bet it hurt.
Then the next day she didn't want to walk on it. So I took her to the doctor just to be safe. I was fine. Just smashed real bad. I felt awful, but I was glad it wasn't fractured.
Remember a while back I posted pictures of these cute kittens that our neighbors got. If you don't remember then click here.I wanted to do an update on them, but they are getting so big. And trying to get pictures of them is impossible. They won't sit still long enough. I guess I need to bribe them with something. I could only get a couple of them. But they are the sweetest things, and they LOVE all the attention they can get.
So far the kitties have been doing well. As long as they stay away from the dog kennel's and don't get too close to this fella and his brother. This is Captain. He wants to"play" aka eat the kitties so bad he will almost jump out of his skin if they get too close. I hope that never happens.
Have a good weekend everyone!
