Well it took a while, but Maddie finally got her wish.
A trip to the Sedgwick County Zoo. Which is ranked as one of the top 10 Zoo's in the Nation. And it's always growing.
I don't think I've ever seen her more excited.
The weather was perfect. She was so happy, she couldn't decided what to go see first. My favorite part was when we got to feed, and pet the Giraffe's. That was awesome. Maddie's favorite was seeing the Chimps and the Orangutan's. There was also a baby Chimp that was just 2months old. I got a couple of pictures of him with his Mama. She was so protective of him. It was neat to watch how gentle she was with her baby.

It was a wonderful afternoon. Can't wait to take her back.
